Our firm undertakes the enforcement of domestic and international companies’ claims in Hungary. We handle both the enforcement of large corporate portfolios of claims and individual, stand-alone mandates, tailoring our approach to the size, complexity and commercial context of each matter.

• review of claims and legal advice on the most appropriate enforcement strategy
• providing information on the corporate and asset status of Hungarian debtors based on publicly available data
• preparation and dispatch of attorney’s formal payment demand letters
• enforcement of claims before domestic ordinary courts and before domestic and foreign arbitration tribunals
• representation in liquidation and bankruptcy proceedings
• order for payment proceedings, including European order for payment (EU payment order) matters
• preparation of enforceable deeds of debt acknowledgement, and assistance in concluding and, where necessary, enforcing them
• preparation of debt rescheduling and instalment payment agreements, as well as various security arrangements (mortgages, suretyships, guarantees, etc.), and assistance in their enforcement
• conducting judicial enforcement proceedings, representation before court bailiffs and in enforcement-related litigation
• regular representation of clients in the recognition and enforcement in Hungary of judgments and awards rendered by foreign arbitration tribunals and foreign ordinary courts against Hungarian debtors
• assistance, through our firm’s extensive network of foreign counsel, in the enforcement abroad of judgments and binding decisions rendered in Hungary against foreign debtors
